Come join us as we strive to regain our title as the Kilt Skate Capital of Canada. This year we’re hosting our kilt skate in conjunction with communities across Canada and in Scotland participating in an International Kilt Skate Weekend.
The Blue Bonnet Lassies School of Highland Dance will perform routines. The Fergus Pipe Band and Grand Celtic Pipe Band will bring the tunes! Sheena's Scottish Shortbread will donate shortbread. And our local Tim Hortons will donate hot chocolate for the skaters!
Our signature flag bearers will be on the ice, and we’ll also be handing out handheld Scottish flags to the first 100 skaters!
