Kilt Skating Comes to Scotland -- Renfrewshire

Location: Braehead Arena,

King’s Inch Road, Renfrew G51 4BN

For more than a decade, Canadians have celebrated Scotland’s contribution to their country by taking to the ice in tartans and kilts. In 2025, the phenomenon crosses the Atlantic. The Scots are kilt skating in a hockey arena. The merging of two cultures!

On Saturday, February 8, the Glasgow Clan hockey club takes on their rivals, the Fife Flyers. The puck drops at 7 pm. But before the game begins, the fans are invited to a public skate where kilts and tartans will be considered the height of skating fashion.

Come join us. Help us celebrate the trans-Atlantic merging of two great cultures.
